Abstract EN

This research is a summary of a famous personality during the Ayyubid period.

This personality is King AlThahir Gazi, who ruled in Halab (582-613 A.H / 1186-1216 A.D).That having Avery good important role in the cultural movement in those regions related to him; This King is famous by follow and focus to receive the cultural fields in his centures.every time he like to get the sciens , information ,reading, writing, and knowledge.

The study illustrates his cultural activities and his relations with scientists and intellectuals.

This King always aimed all sectors of culturals, that having respect to all scientists and intellectuals and through his life story he has a good role in civilan service and developing in some sectors in sciens, his personality is intellectuals’ man who supported the scientists; he is also considered as a very well-known leader in the Islamic history also he having agood role for supporting sciens and scientists, this role is not less than field of politics, administration and military.

This study is divided in to tow chapters; the first chapter is devoted to the demonstration of King Al-Thahir Gazi role in persing science and knowledge and his contribution in the cultural centers and establishment, specilly schools, in the establishment sector or through super vision.

The second chapter we specified it toappear the relations with the men of physicians, scholars, linguistic, letters, poets, historians, geographic and philosophers.The conclusion of the research summarizes the most important results.
