Abstract EN

Research aims to: --Understand the level of physical abilities of students applying for admission to the College of Physical Education, University of Salahaddin – Erbil.

-- Putting grades and standardized tests for levels of physical abilities of students applying for admission to the College of Physical Education, University of Salahaddin – Erbil.

--Identify norms degrees which reference to physical capacity tests for the selection of students.

-- find the percentages of standard levels achieved by students in physical abilities tests.

The researcher has used the descriptive approach, as the researcher adopted the way intentional as the basis for the selection of the research community and of students applying for admission to the College of Physical Education, University of Salahaddin - Erbil for the academic year 2014- 2015 totaling (492) students, the research sample included male students totaling (432 ) students.

The researcher used statistical methods (Excel and Spss).

Research finding (conclusions) --Tables of norms and raw data of physical abilities tests for students applying for admission to the Physical Education has been constructed in line with the existing environment.

-We found the standard levels for those grades - Norm degrees have been developed of physical abilities tests -- Results of the tests were distributed normally within the normal distribution curve and that most of the research sample were on average, and acceptable level.
