Abstract EN

The present research aims at: 1- Structuring a scale of evening classroom students' Psychological Endurance in College of Basic Education /SU 2-measuring the psychological endurance of the evening classes students 3-finding out the significance statistical differences according to the sex variable (males-females) and the specialty variable (scientific –humanitarian).

The research was limited to the students of the evening classes in basic college of education / SU of both specialties, scientific and human and from both sex males and females.The researcher followed the descriptive methodology which was appropriate to the research nature.

The population of the research consisted of (1606) male and female students and to achieve the aims of the research, the researcher constructed and applied a psychological endurance scale on 25% of the original population which constitute (400) male and female students.

This includes (160) male and female students from the scientific departments and (240) male and female students from the humanitarian departments.

The sample of the research was selected according to the random layers technique of sampling, the researcher used a scale consists of (34) items out of (40) items which is distributed on (5)domains each one consists of five alternativesa (5- Likert scale).

The logical item analysis method was used to measure the psychometric characteristics of the psychological endurance scale, the scale was presented to a group of (12) jury members of the different specialties in the field of the research, i.e.

psychology (personality), education and evaluation and measurement .According to their recommendations, some items were excluded and others were amended and only the approved items were used in the scale which consisted of (83.33%).The items discrimination power indicated that four items was insignificants at (0.05) because the computed value was less than the tabulated value which was (1.96).

The construction reliability was checked due to the extent to which the item is related to the total degree of the scale and the relation between the total degree of the field with the total degree of the scale.

The items validity of the psychological endurance scale was measured by the equation of Alminwalprobability because the answering alternatives were not graded .the psychometric features were measured depending on different types of validity, face validity, content validity, constructive validity and intrinsic validity.

The scale validity was investigated by: First, test-retest method and the correlation coefficient value wascomputed to be (0.87), second, split-halves method and the correlation coefficient between the two groups (individual and couple) was computed to be (0.89), this degree represents validity of the half of the scale while the validity value of the whole scale was computed by the process of correction of spearman equation which indicates that the validity value was (0.93).

Third, Alpha Cronbach equation (kudorRitchardson KR.20) was used by the researcher to compute the incompatibility analysis.

The researcher used Jackson's approach to measure the scale sensitivity and the scale value was (4.071), while the scale normative error of the psychological endurance scale was computed to be (5.3) .the most important results concluded by the researcher were: 1-constructing a psychological endurance scale for evening classroom students I college of basic education.

2-there is significant statistical difference at (0.05) level for the benefit of the mean because the computed T valuewas (14.94) which is bigger than the tabulated T-value which is (1.96) at a degree of freedom (379).

3- The female students have more sufferings,pressures, domestic endurance, educational and study endurance and raising children responsibilities than males.

On the bases of the results of the research, the researcher introduced a number of conclusions, recommendations and suggestion
