Abstract EN

This work is to explain the characteristics of daily temperature of Suliamani city and its directions between 1992 and 2014.

In this work, through the annual and monthly temperature average; the focus was on; the highest daily temperature, the lowest daily temperature and daily median temperature.

In this paper, too much and the newest data were used.

The method of the work is analyzing method.

The aim of this work is to find the direction and level of change in the highest, the lowest and median of daily, monthly and annual temperature during the last 23 years.

The work found that, the highest annual temperature increased by 0.0616oC/ annually; it means the average of the highest temperatures has risen by 1.3552o C between 1992 and 2014 compared with earlier years.

In addition, the average of the lowest annual temperature has increased by 0.0339o C/ annually; in other words, the rate of the lowest temperature has raised 0.7458oC between 1992 and 2014 compared with earlier years.

Finally, the rate of the median of the annual temperature has increased by 0.048oC /annually.

In fact, an increase has been recorded in the average of median of temperature by 1.056oC between 1992 and 2014 compared with previous years
