This paper discusses the role of media awareness in addressing security issues through various media, public relations campaigns and new media.

The media system in any society is required to promote security awareness and reduce terrorist acts, crimes and corruption of all kinds.

Media awareness is one of the most important priorities of the security services in the State.

It is equally important for the different sectors of society, since the issue of security is important to all individuals and institutions of society and to provide security that must be shared by all.

Security is the vital element in people's lives and without it there is no stability, no sustainable development, no prosperity.

The paper discusses the importance of persuasive communication in the media awareness process, and the importance of integration between the security services, the media and civil society to achieve a conscious society, aware of its responsibilities and duties on security issues.

The paper also examined and analyzed media awareness and behavior assessment model, as well as the model of cooperation, communication and integration between the security agencies, the media and civil society to achieve security awareness.
