Abstract EN
Shakespeare‘s sonnets resemble pieces of discourse, they consist of dialogues because they are considered to be interactive pieces of discourse communication.
In the sense that they involve addressers and addresses.
This can be demonstrated by certain linguistic (discourse) features, which deliver adversativity.
It can, also, be measured.
The aim of the present study is to show the amount of adversativity in three selected sonnets (149, 2, and 5).
This is done through the detection of the first person pronoun (1st pp), second person pronoun (2nd pp), third person pronoun (3rd pp), answers, and nouns.
The amount of their occurrence is also counted.
Another aim is to show what type of interaction occurs in each sonnet.
