Abstract EN

The study aimed at identifying the basics and components which provide the opportunity for the global penetration of the Islamic economic system as an alternative for capitalism economic system in light of the consequences and lessons of current global economic and financial crises.

The study concluded that the economic and financial crises was a result of capitalism economic system which failed, with its traditional mechanisms, to face them reflecting, in its turn, the structural defects of capitalism economic system and its inability to manage the global economy.

The study also concluded the ability of the Islamic economic system in facing the global economic challenges, as the instruments of Islamic economy and its banking institutions may be considered of the best methods for avoiding the global economic and financial crises if used properly.
