Abstract EN

This paper concerns with an important application of production process , which is process capability(PC) .Throughout the numerical value of the PC index , one can know the output of the under statistical control process meets the required specifications .The application was done for the drying time of wall paint Turkish made , and the data are taken from Erbile test laboratory for construction material .

The data first used to construct two quality control charts for the mean using the range and the standard deviation .

The charts have shown that the process under statistical control.

Then we calculated the process capability indices and the result was too low , this means that the output of the process doesn't meet the required specifications from the drying time point of view.
