Abstract EN

The current study aimed to identify the reality of Teachers use Computer Technologies for Developing of Communication Skills of Children with Autism Disorders.

The sample consisted of (80) teachers, randomly chosen from the program of autism disorders in public prep schools in Jeddah.

The questionnaire utilized in this study for data collection.

The results showed that the reality of teachers’ use of software applications for developing verbal and non-verbal communication skills among children with autism spectrum disorders was medium, and the results also statistically significant differences due to academic qualification in favor of Bachelor degree, while the study showed no differences attributed to the variables of gender and years of experience.

The study recommended the need for paying attention to the Computer Technologies of preparing the teachers of children with autism disorders, particularly verbal and non-verbal communication skills based on computer technology.
