Abstract EN

It is known that literary criticism is an art that is interested in criticizing literary texts.

It was also known that criticizing the criticism and reading the reading is considered a mature phase in the history of criticism practice in order to make a revision of text readings of criticism.

This research as a result, comes in order to criticize the narration criticism aiming at developing the criticism of Saudi short stories.

So the research’s title was the understanding of the narration criticism of the tools used to criticize the short Saudi stories (the fact and the hope), through the descriptive approach.

The research has an introduction, preface, and two researches.

The research concludes that the narration criticism must be the internal eye that concentrates on story work trying to reach the kind of the relations it has and that can achieve the coherence of the narration text, as a result it is described to be cohesive and coherent.

This will contribute in making the social content, of which a given story is made, is understood, as well.

So the social content and the literary content will be considered.
