This study aimed to shedding light on the various Arabic translations of the term “Information Literacy”), and to clarify the semantics of the different translations by reviewing the different translations of the concept.
Findings indicated that the most frequently used terms in Arabic that correspond to the term “information literacy“ are: informational culture, informational awareness, informational enlightenment, and computer literacy.
