Abstract EN

This study aims to recognize the creative thinking level with the students of Sana'a University in addition to recognizing the variances in the capacities of creative thinking among the sportive and non-sportive students at Sana'a University .

The sample of the study composed of 475 students including 315 male students and 160 female students selected randomly .

The researcher used Torrance test for formative creative thinking (b) and using arithmetical averages , standard deviations and ttest as statistical means to process data.

The results concluded that Sana'a University students have creative thinking skills and capacities with a moderate degree in addition the sportive students have fluency skills more other non-sportive while they are equal in flexibility and originality skills .

The results also showed equality between males and females from the students of Sana'a University in creative thinking skills and capacities .

The students recommended the necessity of practicing sport activities with the universities students within a legalized program to improve the physical fitness and health state with the students to assist on the capacity increase to achieve and develop thinking skills.
