This article studies Mahmoud Darwish attempt to build a constructed poem that centers on textual openness.

Taking benefit from his innovatory experiences and expressive tools, he produces the lyrical epic that expresses the most important question sand preoccupations that are mostly related to the human being; it was done in a very artistic way which aims at clarifying the effective and emotional state that haunts the self when confronted by an existential question; it is the capture of a unique and exceptional moment, the moment of staring at death and the confrontation of abcence
