Abstract EN

This paper addresses banks' profitability rate.

It argues that the determinants of profitability are divided on two main parties, namely internal and external determinants.

The ability of commercial banks to increase their profitability is dependent on their ability to study these determinants and well controlling them.

The study of this subject includes the need to address the different indicators to measure profitability in theory as well as in practice.
