English Abstract

Vernacular architecture expresses a strong relationship between man and his immediate environment- the local community he lives in.

It proves that architecture may become a true reflection of all environmental The review of the return to the Vernacular architecture and dispensing import and its .factors around us monopoly and relying on construction techniques based on local materials are available in each area, it strengthens the independence of individuals and human communities, and could each individual production of home materials friendly to the environment, and do not need to consume a lot of energy in process of construction and cost-effective cheap.

The village of Abu El-Reesh in Aswan is an example of vernacular architecture in upper Egypt and hot dry areas deserves consideration as the countdown to extinction because of the encroachment of technology and modem methods of construction of the Egyptian villages, which requires documentation of the experiment for fear of extinction and oblivion.

The inhabitants of the village Abu El-Reesh depends on local building materials available in the surrounding environment and local techniques that have produced a simple building built bluffly fungal-driven environment, which confirms the positive coexistence of the population.

The research aims to shed light on the impact of climatic factors on this architecture, and the importance of exploiting the potential of the environment surrounding the return to traditional local building techniques, and development of scientific bases in order to strengthen the association of environmental and sustainable development.

This is what will be studied and analyzed in the paper, which consists of five parts : i.

Part I : contains Introduction include problematic research and objective and research methodology.

ii.

Part II : contains the theoretical Entrance to study of vernacular architecture and the environment and environmental compatibility iii.

Part III : curtains the portal to study the village of Abu El-Reesh in terms of definition of the village and its geographical and environmental characteristics.

iv.

Part IV : Includes the study of the climate compatibility for the vernacular architecture in the village of Abu El-Reesh.

v.

Part VI : includes the conclusions and recommendations.
