Abstract EN

This research aim to recognize relationship between thinking styles and learning strategies at third college education students, and known differences of means on learning strategies and thinking styles according to study years variable.

To achieve this aims, the researcher used the following materials: thinking styles list for Sternberg & Wakens, and the measuring learning strategies.

The research sample consist of (300) student male and female at third college education in Albaath University.

This study get to the following results: 1- Favorite degree of most thinking styles was high degree, and more thinking styles preference at students was: Hierarchic style, then External style, and less thinking styles preference at students was: Internal style,then Global style.

2- Favorite degree of most thinking styles was middle degree, and more learning strategies preference at students was: iterance,then regulation and less learning strategies preference at students was: administration of study time ,then peer learning.

3- There were significant statistical Correlation at the 0.05 level of significance, Between the (learning strategies and thinking styles) 4- There were significant statistical differences at the 0.05 level of significance among the study groups on thinking styles scale according to study years variable.
