Abstract EN

The research of this study is the problem of liquidity, which is one of the fundamental challenges faced the work of banks at the moment.

The research reviews the concept of liquidity during the study, both in terms of the concept of bank liquidity, its components, its measure, its management theories, factors affecting bank liquidity, and sources of funds in the commercial banks.

The research is the empirical study of the banking sector in Saudi Arabia, which includes a many banks during the period of four to five years (i.e.,) from 2010 to 2014 Based on the results of statistical tests of this hypothesis, the research suggests that the right of ownership significantly affects the high liquidity risk, the rate of return on equity significantly affects the liquidity of Saudi banks.

The presence of an organic relationship and inverse between the risk of a credit and liquidity risk in Saudi banks, and there is an organic relationship between the inverse and interbank funding and liquidity risk in Saudi banks, the bank's size and morally affects adversely on bank liquidity flow in the kingdom.

Finally there is no organic relationship between Saudi economy and Saudi banks liquidity indicators
