Abstract EN

This paper aims at Rationing of Martin Seligman's Scale for Optimism and Pessimism on an Algerian Environment by applying it on teachers (intermediate, secondary, collegiate) of Sa'ida city.

The sample consists of 333 teachers: 169 males and 164 females.

127 students from intermediate, 54 from secondary and 152 from collegiate stages.

By applying the methodological principles to the scale and counting its psychometric features, the researcher has concluded that the scale is characterized by the studied features.
