Abstract EN

This research exposes the appearance and the evolution of the Arabic language in some schools of the German states.

It shows as well the organizational and hypothetical efforts that were carried out in order to fit this language to the needs of the people who do not speak it and the hindrances that were causing that its several objectives were not attained and achieved, due to its specific and optional nature, which resulted negatively onto its external view as well as its internal performance.

The research suggests, viewing the unprecedented interest of people in learning the Arabic language in Germany, due to the current movement of refugees, the importance and necessity of integrating the Arabic language as a compulsory language in German schools, not only to suit the demographic changes in the German society as being a multilingual and multicultural society, but as a unique and necessary solution, to improve this language and to make it respond in the near future to the needs and expectations of its learners in these European countries.
