Abstract EN

This paper attempts to clarify the effects of using adjectives and adverbs as modifiers on conveying meaning in the Qur'an's stories.

The paper includes an introduction, a preamble, two sections and a conclusion.

In the preamble, I provide a discussion of the linguistic and technical concepts of modification, its rhetoric and impact.

While the first section discusses the effects of adjective modifiers, the second section deals with the effects of adverb modifiers.

In the conclusion, I highlight the major findings of the study.
