Abstract EN

The aim of this current study is to identify the effectiveness of cognitive behavioral therapeutic program to improve psychological hardness and to protect from relapse among a sample of Saudi addiction patients in Jeddah.

This study includes a sample of Saudi addiction patients in Jeddah (N=10).

In this study the researcher used psychological hardness Scale set up by the researcher (2007), relapse Scale set up by Eldedy & Askr(2005), and the cognitive behavioral therapeutic program set up by the researcher.

All scales standardized on Saudi environment.

The result showed the effectiveness of cognitive behavioral therapeutic program to improve psychological hardness and to protect from relapse among a sample of Saudi addiction patients in Jeddah.
