The Grandson Ibn Marzouk treats an important issue in this Fatwa related to writing and editing on the papyrus paper.
He tried to familiarize all its aspects and he pointed to it’s importance of being a jurisprudence descending concerning purity ; the Romans use the paper with their unclean hands while the Muslims use this paper for copying and writing.
Due to the Maalikis rules, Ibn Marzouk authorized working with it and using it, in recognition of the necessity of the case ; indicating that necessary here include industrial and commercial sides together .
Especially when the paper industry and its use was common long time before the period of Ibn Marzouk, Even in Morocco in which this industry knew a prominent role in the editing of texts and documents.
Based on these facts this topic stated explaining the provisions of this descending jurisprudence.
