Abstract EN
This study aimed at investigating the relationship between creative thinking, adjustment and academic achievement among students pursuing their studies in government universities at various colleges of engineering in Khartoum State considering the two variables of gender and educational level.
The researcher has adopted the descriptive-analytical method ; the research population is exclusively drawn from Khartoum university students of faculty of engineering, college of engineering students of Sudan University of science and technology, college of engineering students at Alnilein university.
The research sample is about (296) male and female students : (148) are male students and (148) are female students drawn from various levels of their studies, the students have been chosen randomly, the scales of creative thinking and adjustment were used as research tools.
The research data have been processed using a variety of statistical methods such as (SPSS), the percentage, mean, standard diversion, Pearson correlation Formula, Cronbach Alpha T-test and (Anove).
The researcher has arrived at the following results: There is no correlation between the ability to think creatively and adjustment among the individuals research sample, there is a correlation between the ability to think creatively and academic achievement among individuals in the research sample, there are no differences in the scores between males and females, and the differences between the individuals within a sample in creative thinking are attributed to the educational level.
