Arabic Abstract

تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى التعرف على مستوى الخوف من ركوب الطائرات لدى طلاب جامعة مؤتة في ضوء عدد من المتغيرات، و الكشف عن الفروق في مستوى الخوف من ركوب الطائرات والتي تعزى للجنس، و الجنسية، و المستوى التحصيلي، والكلية، وعدد مرات السفر.

مجتمع الدراسة تكون من جميع طلبة جامعة مؤتة/الجناح المدني، في المملكة الأردنية الهاشمية للعام الدراسي 2017/2018م ، و البالغ عددهم (17600) طالب و طالبة طبقا لإحصائية وحدة القبول و التسجيل بالجامعة وتكونت عينة الدراسة من (709) طالبا و طالبا من كافة كليات الجامعة، و جرى تطوير أداة لقياس الخوف من ركوب الطائرات.

و تم صياغة (30) فقرة تنتمي إلى أبعاد الخوف من الطيران لدى طلاب جامعة مؤتة.

أشارت نتائج السؤال الأول في هذه الدراسة بأن المتوسط العام لمستوى الخوف من ركوب الطائرات لدى طلاب جامعة مؤتة و المرتبطة ببعد الخوف قبل السفر بأيام و البعد عند الوصول للمطار جاء بدرجة منخفضة.

و أما بعد الشعور بالخوف عند ركوب الطائرات جاء بدرجة متوسطة.

أشارت النتائج للسؤال الثاني في هذه الدراسة عن الفروق في مستوى الخوف من ركوب الطائرات وفقا لمتغيرات الدراسة عن وجود فروق ذات دلاله احصائيه عند مستوى دلالة a≤0.05) ) لمتغيري الجنس و عدد مرات السفر.

English Abstract

The aim of this study is to determine the level of fear of boarding to aircraft for Mu'tah university students in the term of variables, and detect differences in the level of fear from boarding aircraft, which are due to gender, nationality, educational level, college, and number of travel times.

The target population of this study is all of the students of Mu'tah University /civil wing, in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan 2017/2018 school year, and the number of them is (17600) male and female students in accordance accordance to statistical report from admission and registration unit, the sample size of this study consisted (709) students.

A measurement tool has been developed to measure the fear of boarding to aircraft.

(30) items have been formulated to measure the dimensions of fear of flying among Mu'tah university students.

The results of the first question for this study indicate that overall average level of fear of aircraft boarding among Mu'tah University students associated with fear before traveling dimension and airport arrival dimensions low, and the dimension of the feeling of fear during boarding to aircraft is medium.

The results of the study indicate to the second question that is there are statistically significant differences at the level of significance of (α0.05) between the averages of fear of boarding aircraft in Mu'tah University students due to the variables (gender, nationality, educational level, college and number of travel times).

The results of the second question for this study indicate existence of differences at the level of fear for aircraft boarding at a statistical significance level of α (0.05) for gender and travel times variables.
