Arabic Abstract

هدفت الدراسة الحالية إلى التعرف على مستوى التوافق الزواجي لدى أمهات الأطفال ذوي الإعاقة في محافظة معان و علاقته في بعض المتغيرات، تألفت عيّنة الدّراسة من (103) من أمهات الأطفال ذوي الإعاقة العقلية، و قد تم تطوير مقياسا لقياس التوافق الزواجي و التحقق من تمتعه بدلالات صدق وثبات مناسبة لأغراض هذه الدراسة.

أشارت النتائج إلى وجود مستوى متوسط من التوافق الزواجي لدى امهات الاطفال ذوي الاعاقة، و أن الأمهات اللواتي لديهن أطفال ذكور أكثر توافقا زواجيا من الأمهات اللواتي لديهن اناث، و أن التوافق الزواجي لا يختلف تبعا لدرجة الاعاقة بسيطة أو متوسطة، كذلك لا يختلف تبعا لوجود طفل معاق واحد أو اكثر في الأسرة، ولا يختلف عموما حسب عمل الزوجة الا في البعد الترفيهي و لصالح من يعملن، كما توصلت النتائج أن التوافق الزواجي أفضل للنساء بعمر أقل من 30 سنة في الجانب الشخصي و أعلى لعمر 41 سنة فأكثر في الجانب الترفيهي، كما توصلت النتائج الى أن التوافق الزواجي أفضل في البعد الترفيهي و الاجتماعي لصالح العمر الأعلى عند الزواج، و لا يختلف التوافق الزواجي لدى النساء تبعا للمستوى التعليمي للام، كما كان التوافق الزواجي أفضل للنساء اللواتي لديهن مستوى دخل اقتصادي أقل في البعدين الشخصي و الاجتماعي.

و خلصت هذه الدراسة لمجموعة من التوصيات ومن أهمها الاهتمام بالتوافق الزواجي لدى امهات الأطفال المعاقين و العمل على قياسه.

English Abstract

The study aimed at identifying the level of marital adjustment among the mothers of children with disabilities in Ma'an governorate and its relationship with some variables.

The study sample consisted of (103) mothers of children with mental disabilities.

A measure was developed to measure marital adjustment, Suitable for the purposes of this study.

The results indicate that there is an average level of marital adjustment among mothers, and that mothers with male children are more likely to marry than mothers with daughters, and that marital adjustment does not differ according to the degree of disability, simple or moderate, nor does it differ according to the presence of one or more disabled children The results also found that marital adjustment is better for women with less than 30 years of work on the personal side and higher for the age of 41 years or more on the recreational side.

The results also found that marital adjustment is better in the dimension Entertaining and social in favor of a higher age at marriage.

Marriage adjustment among women does not differ according to the level of the educational mother, and marital adjustment was better for women with a lower level of economic income in the personal and social dimensions.

The study concluded with a number of recommendations, the most important of which is attention to the marital adjustment of the mothers of disabled children and the work to measure it.
