Abstract EN

The study dealt with the investigation of loan words in the Holy Quran Al-suyuti’s views on this linguistic issues with reference to his book 'AlMuhathab' .

The study defined Arabicized words and highlighted views of the scholars on the presence of foreign words.

Al-Suyuti’s perspective were also studied supported with examples and compared with the views of fellow scholars the researcher has adopted descriptive analytical method and concluded that there are loan words in the holy Quran.

there is also difference between AL-suyuti and other scholars over the presence of borrowed words.

AL-Suyuti believes that there are 100 words or more in the holy Quran, however these foreign words do not make the holy Quran less eloquent or less plain.
