In today’s world, knowledge is ranked leader in different activities and great projects, for being the key of every evolution, and the main pile to achieve continuous and global development, the principle condition to create competences, produce wealth and upgrade services as much as governments master knowledge, they are the most capable to achieve economical growth, provide prosperity to their citizens and occupy a decent rank in the relative world classifications.

The real gap is in the ability to acquire knowledge and produce it, not in the income.

The difference between countries or even between the rich and poor social classes in the same society or the same country is not related to the weak financial resources, but to the fault to produce knowledge or to share it and use it to face daily challenges encountered by knowledge.

These countries ought to invest in all of its powers and strong foundations throughout enabling their youths to actively participate in building the knowledge society, to aim the achievement of three main elements: first of all, transferring knowledge, second of all settling out knowledge, last and not least training and qualifying youths to actively participate in the process of transferring and strengthening out this knowledge.

All of the above is based on considering that youths are the tool and the target in the same time, that they are the one category able to build and develop in the society.

This category must find its own place, and who invest in their power, take care of it and guide it in the light of the social modifications imposed by development.

We have to take into consideration establishing schedules, policies and plans to make of these youths participants and activists in the growth, going forward and development according to the modern life requirements, as they are the ones capable of building and improving the knowledge society, for being the main engine that moving to this destination, it just requires giving them the sufficient and necessary care and empowerment, by handing them the weapons of knowledge in the education, scientific research, innovation, economics, technology and the multiple other fields there are.

Although, we always keep wondering; how can youth participate in the process of building the knowledge society? What is the government’s role to make the youth an integrated activist in the knowledge society? Have our education institutions, in their different stages, passed the transferring knowledge step to settling it? What do we mean exactly by the integration operation of the Arab youths in the knowledge transfer and settlement processes? Do we mean the scientific qualification? Cultural ? Providing the cognitive skills? Values ? Or all the above? do the social culture and the standing value systems oppose or support the active participation of youth in the knowledge transfer and settlement processes? And this is what we can study throughout the Arab knowledge report “ youth and the settlement of knowledge 2014 2015 and our thesis of the conceptual model of settling knowledge in the Arab world and the strategy of allowing youths to be actively integrated in the strengthening out process.
