Abstract EN

This works presents a method for determining the interfacial sfresses between strengthening composite plate FRP and fonctionally graded beam (FGB).

An analytical approach based on the principle of compatibility of deformation will be presented.

The FG beam material with mechanical proper-ties that vary through to the thicless according to a well defined mixture of law.

Defects in these beams may arise during the manufacturing pro-cess in the form of porosity are taken into account in the determination of these interface stresses.

A detailed parametric study will be presented to highlight the factors influencing the interfacial stresses.
