This research summarises the concept of the Art of al-Urjuzah an Arabic word which means the rythem in poetry in Arabic literature and in old Algerian heritage precisely.

The region of Tuat is chosen as an example for this study because it is considered as one of the famous regions in this art in Algeria during the eleventh and the twelfth centuries HA، and continued until the thirteenth century.

The paper attempts to illustrate the evolution of the art of al-Urjuzah in the region of Tuat through the concept and the structure، the features and its prominent figures.
