The research deals with the workplace as a method of activating creativity and innovation in the institution, through reviewing the concept of creativity and the evolution of its study.

The paper also discusses the concept of the place and the definition of the workplace، the healthy workplace and the point of view of architecture on the architectural space.

Finally, we examine some literature review which dealt with the design of the workplace and its impact on the performance of the staff and their well-being.
