Abstract EN

E-Government refers to the use of information and communication technologies (such as Internet and mobile computing) by governments to improve its processes, facilitate more accessible government services, allow greater public access to information, it promises to make government and its agencies more efficient, responsive, transparent and legitimate, that have the ability to transform relations with citizens and businesses.

This article focuses on the potential of implementing an e-Government projects within and possibly throughout the Arab world, it analyzes the political difficulties encountered in promoting the concept of e-Government in these countries.
