New technologies of communications in which scientific domain, contribute efficiently for the valorization of research publications.

Many ways are available, but the most revolutionary is the informal method such as the social media.

This tool gives different advantages by the facility of their usage.

The social media become a new dynamic platform of many researchers to diffuse ideas and information among this type way of communication we can define a specific one intended to research domain, which call them scientific social media.

We tried through this contribution, to clarify and define scientific social media as an instrument of valorizing scientific research and scientific publication.
