English Abstract

This study discusses a topic closely related to securities markets ; namely, "arbitration as a means of resolving disputes arising from dealing with securities." Securities markets are becoming a prominent factor in economies due to the role they play in accumulating savings and channeling them into big investments to increase production.

The study explains what stock markets are, the nature and types of disputes and dealings taking place.

The study also explains arbitration in securities markets’ disputes in terms of the legal nature of arbitration, its characteristics, and the legal framework of its procedures, especially at the Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) and the finalization of its arbitration proceedings.

The study includes a host of results like arbitration procedures at ASE from consideration of disputes to final resolution by the arbitral tribunal based on ASE disputes resolution directives and the conformity of the arbitral process with the Jordanian Arbitration Law.
