English Abstract

The study aimed to evaluate the quality of the performance of the faculties of education in Jordanian universities in the light of the (NCATE)standards from the point of view of the faculty members, and to identify differences in views according to gender variables, supervising authority, academic rank, source of obtaining the last qualification and years of experience.

In order to achieve the objectives of the thesis, the descriptive approach was used.

A questionnaire was developed consisting of (60) standards divided into six groups: (programs presented, performance evaluation, field experiences, diversity, qualifications of faculty members, resources and governance).

(144) faculty members.

The results of the study showed that: The quality of the performance of the colleges of education in Jordanian universities in the light of the standards of Ncate was of a medium degree from the point of view of faculty members and there were statistically significant differences at the level of (α ≥ .0.0(on the quality of the performance of the faculties of education in Jordanian universities Incite standards from the point of view of the faculty of incentives according to the variables of authority, academic rank and source of obtaining the last qualification, the number of years of experience for the benefit of private universities and assistant professor and graduates of Arab universities, and less five years respectively.

And the absence of statistically significant differences due to the gender variable
