Abstract EN

This research has studied the technical aspects in Meskeen Al Darimi’s poetry, in an analytical and critical fashion, including a prologue where it introduces the poet.

The study has included four sections, the first one was about the internal and external music, the second one cared about the poetic image, where the third section studied the poetic structure regarding the introduction, the main body, and the conclusion of the poem.

And the fourth one was about the literature and poetic dictionary.

Some important technical aspects have been traced in study such as the rhyme, the measure, and other poetic this aspects such as simile, conceptual metaphor, metonymy, poetic structure and others.

And some other ways of how grammatical men and critics would bring up examples Al Darimi’s poetry.

This study has demonstrated many different aspects that can be summarized as follow : 1-He balanced between the topics he talked about and the seas of poetry he’d use.

2-The simile is clear and well organized.

3-The conceptual metaphor transformed the objective aspect in to sensual.

4-He managed to maintain poem unity.

5-His poetic dictionary is urban away from the outdated vocabulary.

This research is considered some serious attempt to coverage the technical aspects of Al Darimi’s poetry, since no other study has considered his poetry yet.
