Abstract EN

Sociology grew up, to meet the need of cognitive and social changes associated mainly to the Industrial Revolution, the French Revolution and the transformations wrought by the social construction and social roles level.

The American Sociological school was founded to contribute to the understanding, analysions and solving social problems causez by the rapid changes and social dynamics characterized with different races and customs in the United States, resulting itself from migration movement from different continents and countries.

Actually sociology and sociologists gained in Western societies a major place in the order of the functions and roles.

Arab sociologists tried to approach the social reality sometimesby importing Western theories of interpretation and at other times, trying to return to the Islamic philosophy to derive social laws, and sometimes trying to blend both directions.

However sociology, holds implicitly in its theoretical or practical side, views ,perceptions and social feedbacks positive or negative depending on the social contexts and policies followed by the governing authority or the government institutions.

Our concern on this article is to analyze the following problematic question : Are Arab societies with their social and cultural structureready to accept sociology with its critical nature ? Is there a request or social political and economic need, from different segments of society to the sociology ?
