The technological developments have great and vast expansions serving multipurpose functions of exports and imports.

Those have been playing too many bad behaviors in dealing with different trades as it is internationally reported to be “Illicit Trafficking” with nuclear and radioactive materials.

Such trades are considered harmful with numerous hazards to human health and environment under international consideration of safe transport which is increasing between countries when considering exchanges of food stuff, pharmaceuticals, and material ores utilized for industrial, agricultural, and other fields.

Therefore, developments should have to be advanced to control the customs ports utilizing the nuclear and radiological technology to monitor and control the safety, security, and quality in imports and exports products.

This will ensure the socio-economic considerations against the contamination and illicit trafficking for the sake of human health and environment.

The objectives of this article are to improve the experience transfer and lessons learned around the world and shed light on how to utilize the methods of controlling nuclear and radioactive materials across the customs ports
