English Abstract

This study aimed to show the effect of virtual environment on learning spatial graphic design.

To achieve the study objective theoretical studies related to study were reviewed.

The experimental descriptive method is used through designing three dimensional virtual environment that contributes to the process merging the student in the design and educational process, and to show its effect on him through pre and posttest to measure the degree of students, spatial capacity development in the internal and graphic design in the subject the environmental graphic design specific to the graduate studies' major graphic design in the middle east university as follow : Purposeful sample is selected from the study population, its number reached (20) male and female students.

The study sample consisted from the original population (20) male and female students.

They were divided in to two groups, one group studied the subject environmental graphic design by the usual method (dictation) and the other group through employing the virtual environment to be part of the design and educational process.

The per test is applied to the control and experimental groups, then applying the virtual environment to the two experimental groups, then applying the post-test to measure the effect degree.

Results of the study showed the presence of equivalent between the experimental and control groups of the students of graphic design and internal design, which means (the absence of differences with statistically significance) in the pre- test.

Also, results of the study showed the presence of differences with statistically significance between the two experimental groups of graphic design and internal design students who studied by the concept the virtual environment on the post- test, and there were no differences between the two control groups of students of graphic design and internal design who studied by the usual conventional method on the post-test.

Also, results showed the presence of differences with statistically significance for the experimental group and in favor of the internal design who studied through the virtual environment on the post-test.
