This artical deals with an important aspect of ¨hadith¨, and it explores the opinions of "ulama" on writing hadith since the period of the prophet Mohamed (blessing and peace be up on him).

This article lists the various periods of writing hadith, and the difference between writing and "tedwine", and the method used to decide either the permission or the interdiction of writing hadith.
