Abstract EN

Choosing for marriage is a delicate question.

It is one of the most important subjects that attract the attention of both sociologists and psychologists.

Indeed, this is a subject that matters for any individual within society including different social components, in particular, the young, who is a more involved person.

This study attempts to shed light on the fact of choosing for marriage in a student community.

That is why, this study carries on a sample of 200 university students at final stage of their university studies within Emir Abdelkader University in Constantine.

At the level of choice criteria there are a lot of changes that touched students’ criteria for marriage such as : age, education, religiousintegrity and beauty etc.
