Abstract EN

This study examines the phenomenon of the rise of the "Islamic State"- Group in Iraq and Syria, and its political, security and economic effects on the Middle East.

The study is based on the premise that "the existence of a correlation between the rise of the "Islamic State"-Group and the existence of political, security and economic effects on the states of the region." To achieve this, the study is divided into two parts: The first one presents an idea about the "Islamic State"- Group in terms of its foundation, its claims, and its ideology and beliefs.

The second tries to examine the regional implications of the rise of the "Islamic State"-Group in terms of its success factors in Iraq and Syria, the regional and international position toward this rise, and finally the political, security and economic implications of this rise.

The researcher has adopted the descriptive as well as the historical analytical approach to clarify aspects of the study.

The study wakes several conclusions, most notably that the political, security and economic effects that are carried out by the rise of the "Islamic State" in the region have touched without exception, all the countries of the region, but its impact was relatively different from state to other.
