Abstract EN

This research aimed to clarify the effect of the development of internal audit profession on improvement of corporate governance.

The research has been presented as theoretical study which has been divided to three axes.

The first aimed to introduce some aspects of new internal audit, the second has been allocated to introduce some concepts of corporate governance and the third aimed to explain the impact of developing the function of internal audit in supporting the corporate governance.

The study has based on many books, articles, studies and some information of certain international organizations related to the topic of this research.
