Abstract EN

This study addressed the reasons for the application of (TQM : Total Quality Management) in higher education in Algeria.

Faculty of litteratures and human sciences at the University of Batna.

And harsh treatment of the results and discussion of the assumptions, the study yielded the following results : 1- Ther is sufficient justification for the application of (TQM) in the Faculty of litteratures and human sciences at the University of Batna which are ordered as follows : - Low productivity of education in the Faculty.

- The quality of the graduates is not associated with the labor market.

- The number of students exceeds the expenses assigned to them.

-the Faculty has a lack in mutual relations with the external environment, especially with the receiving institutions.

- The current management style doesn’t take on consideration the participation of employees.

- The faculty strategy based on the quantity.

- Students and faculty members are not satisfied with the services provided to them.

- Scientific research in the Faculty does not work effectively in the development and improvement.

- The views of professors and experts do not invest seriously in the development and improvement of faculty situation.

2- There were no significant differences in the significance (0.05) to the justifications of total quality application in the faculty from the perspective of faculty administration according to the (academic qualification).
