Support of the Norvegian Red Cross to the Algerian women prisoners through the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in 1957/1958 This study is an overview on the support about the Norwegian Red Cross to Algerian prisoners during the Algerian national liberation war from the International Red Cross archives from 1957 to 1958.
The objectives of the study are as follows : - Introduction of the International Red Cross Committee -Evocation of the Norwegian Red Cross support to Algerian and European women prisoners between 1957 and 1958 -An overview about the suffering of the Algerian women prisoners through the testimonies recounted in the brochure sent by the Norwegian Red Cross to the International Committee of the Red Cross in 1958.
-Emphasize the role of the lawyer Jacques Verges in Djamila Bouhired case and the spirit of solidarity expressed towards her.

Soutien de la Croix-Rouge Norvégienne aux prisonnières Algériennes par le biais du Comité International de la CroixRouge (CICR) 1957 / 1958 La présente étude est un aperçu sur le soutien de la Croix Rouge Norvégienne aux prisonnières Algériennes pendant la guerre de libération nationale à partir des archives de la Croix Rouge Internationale entre 1957 et 1958.
Les objectifs de l’étude sont comme suit : - Présentation du Comité International de la Croix Rouge.
-Evocation du soutien de la Croix Rouge Norvégienne aux prisonnières Algériennes et Européennes entre 1957 et 1958.
-Aperçu sur les souffrances des prisonniers Algériennes à travers les témoignages relatés dans la brochure expédiée par la CroixRouge Norvégienne au Comité International de la Croix Rouge en 1958.
- Souligner le rôle de l'avocat Jacques Vergés dans l’affaire Djamila Bouhired et l’élan de solidarité exprimé à son égard
