This study aimedtoidentify theactivity beyond cognition in children withattention deficit hyperactivity.

Itintendedtodetectthe level of selfregulation activity beyond cognition in children suffering from this disorder compared with normal children, based on the hypothetical consideration that the emergence of attention deficit physical activity disorder in a person who is not capable of maintaining abalancedcognitivebehavioralperformancethroughself- regulation beyondcognition.

This reflects thematurity phase in a cognitive-behavioralperformanceof an averagechild.

Based on the findings of the researcherHelenPoisson (2008), we relied on an Algerianstandardizedtest in order to diagnose the attention deficithyperactivity disorder and to determine the disorder in the study sample by a child psychiatristat the University Hospital of Tlemcen.

A cognitive self-regulation evaluation test has also been used by Helen Poisson et Helen Markman to assess the ability to detect the textual contradictions as a reference to use self-regulation beyond cognition in order to control the cognitive-behavioralperformance.

children that have a disorder in attention deficithyperactivity (experimental sample) suffer also from a perturbation in cognitive self-regulation (weak perception of textual contradictions), while normal children (control group) have the capacity to perceive the textual contradictions andresort tocognitive self-regulation, even after a while.
