The issue of identity in the “ Kabylian region “ represents one of the manifestations of political and cultural conflict elites in the " postcolonial " society , and one of the manifestations of the discrepancy between what is politicalideological and what is - social – cultural in society desired by the state - Nation that came with Western modernity .

Over the centuries, “ Kabylian region “ maintained to some extent on its autonomy and cultural social and political specificity , what constraint outsiders to be handled with care , until French colonialism , which was able to cut deep for the first time in this region and settles in and exploits in its specificity and invest in within what is known as " Kabylian policy " , what are the dimensions of this policy , if it exists , and what are its repercussions on this region ?
