Abstract EN

The study aims at discovering the effectiveness of imitation program in developing the inventory thinking and its competencies (fluency, flexibility, and originality); as well the possibility of their use in other modules for all levels in the light of obtained results.

For that aim, the descriptive comparative procedure has been used through applying the experiment of Torrens in its format (B) on a sample of 235 students of second year of higher school, arbitrarily, classificatory, and relatively chosen; in order to know about the role these programs play in developing the inventory thinking and its competencies precited.

The results are as follow : -Imitation programs have an important role in developing the inventory thinking and its competencies (fluency, flexibility, and originality), -Some important differences exist in inventory thinking between students due to the specialization variable for mechanical and electrical architecture, There exist no important differences between students sing technology through the imitation program due to the sex variable.
