This study aims to investigate one of the discourse strategies in Ibn Zaidun's Farcical Epistle which is the persuasion strategy.

This Strategy is so distinctive strategy in the Farcical Epistle in which the author tried to employ various techniques, and means that guaranteed him to reach a high degree of acceptance at the level of the receiver and then persuade him/ her.

The findings reveals that the persuasion strategy appears in two distinct aspects: the irony and the text's sources.

It tries to follow these two sides and to explore the ways they represented persuasion, in addition to some technical signs that serve the topic of study Farcical Epistle and identify with it.
