This article aims at presenting selected efforts and experiences of alert Arabic language for non-native speakers in Africa, especially people of south Sudan, north Nigeria's regions, by shading glimmering light on some useful experiences on teaching Arabic language in professional departments in Sudan and Nigeria's universities and institutions.
It proves that though efforts made by colonization, Missionary societies and environmental challenges as well as cultural disparities mainly in south Sudan region in early nineteenth century, Arabic is stretched as schooling, dialogue tongue in the region, this is achieved due to exerted efforts made by teaching institutions such as university of Khartoum, Bakhat –elrida in Sudan, also by efforts carried by some scholarly, holy men in Nigeria, moreover, founding of number of state's universities and Arabic language departments mainly in north Nigeria.
The paper identifies three key impetuses to lean Arabic language, these are: religion (positive & negative), national-Arabic and humanitarian impetus.
