Abstract EN

This study aims at presenting a new proposal for Arabic language curriculum, for teaching Arabic language in the preparatory stage in Arabic- French Schools in Burkina Faso.

The study also sought to answer the following key question: What is the possible proposed conception to set up the curriculum for teaching Arabic language in the preparatory stage in Arabic- French Schools in Burkina Faso, basing on views of the Arabic language teachers.

The researcher used the descriptive approach because of its convenience to this study; he also endeavored to test the following hypotheses: There is a possibility to provide the conception for proposed curriculum of Arabic language to be taught in the preparatory stage in Arabic- French Schools in Burkina Faso.

There are clear objectives for the proposed curriculum of Arabic language in the preparatory stage in Arabic-French Schools in Burkina Faso.

Teaching means and methods being used for teaching the proposed curriculum are not suitable.

The sample of this study was composed of (80) male and female teachers and was randomly selected.

The researcher used questionnaire as a tool to collect data, he also used (SPSS) statistical analysis program to analyze the data, as well as he tested the hypotheses and the results concluded that: All the hypotheses have been achieved at an average (to a certain degree).
